Eating Disorders - Young People

The Danish Health Management has made an examination showing that 55.650 women between 15 and 45 years have an eating disorder.
Types of eating disorders:
There are four types of eating disorders: anorexia, bulimia, overeating and orthorexia.
Here are some facts about them:
Anorexia: People who are suffering from anorexia, is obsessed with their weight. They are starving themselves so much, that they weigh about 50-75% of their normal weight. Anorexics are always seeing themselves as fat. They have an urge to control everything, feelings, needs, impulses etc. They appear quite normal from the outside, but on the inside they are very unhappy, because of their hatred for themselves.
Bulimia: Bulimia is almost the same as anorexia. The difference is that bulimics eat huge portions of food, and afterwards they will go out and throw it all up again. 40% of bulimics who have been in therapy, have returned to the disease again, and will probably never be healthy.
